Join a fast-growing, purpose-driven scale-up with innovative tech platforms, helping companies reduce their environmental impact. We are looking for a proactive, commercially-minded Account Executive to drive sales and help businesses adopt our solutions to accelerate their sustainability journey.

What will you do as an Account Executive?

  • Lead the full sales cycle, from product demos to closing deals, by delivering a consultative, value-driven approach.

  • Develop tailored proposals and offers, aligning our solutions with customer needs and sustainability goals.

  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key stakeholders to drive successful deal closures.

  • Advise clients on software implementation, ensuring they derive maximum value from Ecochain’s solutions.

  • Collaborate with Customer Success to identify and pursue upsell opportunities within large accounts.

  • Work closely with the Sales Engineer and Product team to optimize sales strategies and ensure product-market fit.

  • Drive sector-specific outbound sales efforts, including acquisition, campaign planning, and funnel management.

  • Manage Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for large clients.

  • Continuously improve sales processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficiency and customer focus.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in business, sustainability, or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in SaaS B2B sales, preferably with a focus on consultative selling.

  • Proven ability to close complex sales deals, manage high-touch customer relationships, and navigate diverse stakeholder environments.

  • Experience working with sustainability software or LCA is a strong plus, though not mandatory.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills in English (Dutch is a plus), with an ability to explain technical products in simple terms.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and sales strategy.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently within a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

Team: Our sales team is growing rapidly. Currently, our team consists of an SDR, 3 Account Executives, and a Sales Engineer. It is the perfect time to jump on the Ecochain train.
